Many birds migrate south at this time of year. Are you one of those, traveling south in search of sun and warmth?
Or are you one of those birds who stays home during the winter and draws strength from fully experiencing the different seasons? Or perhaps you've flown in from another region to temporarily settle here in the warmth of our beautiful village of Zandvoort? Everyone is welcome in Zandvoort Town Hall to experience the warmth of Lines & Lava. Lines & Lava takes you on a visual journey along the rugged coastlines and fiery landscapes of Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, and Los Lobos in the Canary Islands, islands surrounded by nature and very popular with (wintering) tourists. This visual journey explores islands where surfing is popular and where serene places warm your heart, such as the beaches of Fuerteventura. The photographer asks herself: Don't we live in Zandvoort on an island ourselves? This exhibition invites you not only to see, but also to listen, to feel. Are you traveling with us?
Veel vogels trekken in deze tijd van het jaar naar het zuiden. Ben jij er een van, op zoek naar zon en warmte? Of ben jij een van die vogels die thuis blijft tijdens de winter en kracht put uit het ten volle beleven van de verschillende seizoenen? Of misschien ben je wel vanuit een andere regio hierheen gevlogen om je tijdelijk te vestigen in de warmte van ons prachtige dorp Zandvoort? Iedereen is welkom in het gemeentehuis van Zandvoort om de warmte van Lines & Lava te ervaren. Lines & Lava neemt je mee op een visuele reis langs de ruige kustlijnen en vurige landschappen van Fuerteventura, Lanzarote en Los Lobos op de Canarische Eilanden, eilanden omgeven door natuur en zeer populair bij (overwinterende) toeristen. Deze visuele reis verkent eilanden waar surfen populair is en waar serene plekken je hart verwarmen, zoals de stranden van Fuerteventura. De fotograaf vraagt zich af: wonen we in Zandvoort zelf niet op een eiland? Deze tentoonstelling nodigt je uit om niet alleen te zien, maar ook te voelen. Reis jij met ons mee?

Who is behind water works?
